Security & data
Your bids are your business.
Each company’s data is walled off in the database
Every table that holds customer data carries the company it belongs to, and the database itself enforces row-level security on each one. A user in one company cannot read or change another company’s rows, even if the application has a bug. Automated tests check that wall on every change to the code.
No logins to paid lead services
We never ask for, store, or use passwords to paid aggregator or plan-room services, and we never log in to them on your behalf. Their content reaches us only as email you choose to forward.
Your data is not used to train AI
We use AI models to read listings and documents. We do not use your data, in identifiable form, to train, fine-tune, or otherwise improve any model without your written consent.
Access by role
Owners, admins, estimators, and viewers each see and do only what their role allows. Pages you don’t have access to simply aren’t there.
Encrypted in transit
The site is served only over HTTPS, with HTTP Strict Transport Security and a content security policy.
A polite, identifiable crawler
Our crawler names itself, follows robots.txt, and rate-limits its visits to every site.
